Upgrading & safety optimization of a HEINKEL HF600 Inverting Filter Centrifuge
With our control system, and our new operation panel with integrated Touch-Screen and a new inertisation unit, shows the revised HF600 as a new one. The tank below the machine is an intermediate storage of the filtrate for further processing. The barrel pressing device under the solid housing, allows a dust free discharge of the solid.
The CONTECMA C. S. Pressure rule unity
allows an adjustment exact on millibar of the case pressure, within the process space, the centrifuge and raises therefore the functional security and the process security. It is made sure that the process pressure does not drop lower than 5mbar and by a possible leakage which cannot reach surroundings air in the process space. Another advantage is, the process pressure is held stable also during the filling process. This minimises the influence of pressure fluctuations on the filling control of the centrifuge.
In addition, an overpressure boiler safety valve protects the centrifuge against a too high case inside pressure.
The integration of the pressure rule unity in the existing exhaust air management of the customer, becomes by a simply assembly of two norm flanges DN50 realistiert and is guaranteed.
Upgrading & safety optimization of two HEINKEL HF600 Inverting Filter Centrifuges
As part of a plant modernization, the electrical controls, the local operator panel and all electrical components inside the centrifuges were exchanged at two HEINKEL HF600 inverting centrifuges. The new control cabinets including the inverter of the rotational drive with a power feedback unit and the safety PLC. This modernization increases the reliability of the machine and in addition a cost saving through an efficient use of electric energy. In contrary to the inverter with braking resistor, the energy during braking of the centrifuge will not converted in heat, the REVCON power feedback unit can feedback the energy into the main power supply.
This approach has two advantages:
1.) Use of the feedback power
2.) Energy savings because it is not necessary to dissipate the heat of the braking resistor with expensive air conditioning.
The Upgrade of the Control Unit for a HF800
includes a new control and power cabinet, a new HMI operation panel and the exchange of all relevant safety sensors of the centrifuge.
Of course the security of the centrifuge is revalued according to the IEC 61508 and an EC conformance explanation is issued, so the machine produce on a save way for the next years.
The security-technical conversion occurs with a Fail safe control SPS of SIEMENS. The achievement part was equipped with a power feedback unit REVCON. This unit offers to the customer a substantial cost saving, by an efficient exploitation of the electric impulse energy. In contrast to the arrangements with braking resistor the energy is converted with the braking of the centrifuge not into rejected heat, but by the power feedback unit reload the power in the supply network.
Contecma C.S. Werk 2
With the acquisition of the neighbor hall, the Contecma C.S. have got about 1,200 sqm. The area gained to serve as more assembly stations of new and used centrifuges. The new hall also has a 3.5 t gantry crane, which simplifies the affairs of the centrifuges.
